Pruning is about making thoughtful cuts in the service of specific goals—managing risk and tree health, developing good structure, improving aesthetics, etc.
Tree maintenance refers to important non-pruning work like root collar excavations, or the installation of cables and braces.
Tree Sourcing & Planting
Long-lasting trees start with good roots and have good structure. I’ll help you pick out quality nursery stock, get it planted right, and make sure it’s properly supported. I’ll also walk you through the basic care it needs early on, so it grows well and stays low-maintenance down the line.
Consultations
I offer consultations for homeowners who want a second opinion, want to understanding their tree’s needs, or want to develop plans for the future of their yards.
If you want to maintain your trees or shrubs yourself but aren't sure how, you're in luck. I teach! We’ll cover what to cut, what to leave, and how to make good decisions that keep your trees healthy and growing in the way that you want them to.

I offer basic soil testing to assess nutrient levels, pH, soil texture, and others key factors that contribute to tree health.
Understanding soil conditions allows us to responbsibly manage trees over the long term.
