Peppermint Tree (Agonis flexuosa)

This beloved peppermint tree developed a main stem that grows toward the house, creating an unbalanced structure. I reduced the weight on the leaning side of the tree and carefully thinned the canopy to improve airflow and light penetration to its interior. The owners enjoy the arching tunnel effect over their walkway, so I maintained the tree’s graceful, weeping form while ensuring reasonable clearance for pedestrians.
